Business Permit
All business establishments are required to secure a Business License and Mayor’s Permit and pay business taxes before the start of operations. It must be renewed from January 1-20 of every year as stated on the local tax ordinance. Penalties are imposed after this period.

Requirements:

  • Community Tax Certificate or cedula (Read here on how to secure a CTC)
  • Barangay Business Clearance from the Barangay where business is located
  • Fire Safety Clearance and Sanitary Clearance
  • Bureau of Internal Revenue TIN/Registration
  • Social Security System Clearance
  • Location Clearance
  • Health Certificate from the Municipal Health Office for food handler and those required by the Tax Code
  • Annual Inspection from the Municipal Engineering Office
  • Fire Safety Inspection Certificate from Bureau of Fire Protection
  • Others as maybe appropriate certificate required by the tax code

Additional Requirement for New Business:
Registration from the Department of Trade and Industry (sole proprietorship), Security and Exchange Commission for partnership and corporations) and Cooperative Development Authority (cooperatives)

Additional Requirement for Renewal

  • Income Tax Return of preceding year
  • Business Permit of preceding year
  • Sworn declaration of Gross Receipts/Sales of previous year

  • Business Taxes – New business based or the type of Business and Capital
  • Mayor’s Permit based on the kind of business
  • Sanitary Permit
  • Fire Inspection fee
  • Physical Exam (Health Card)
  • Exercise of Calling
  • Tax Clearance
  • Garbage Fee
  • Engineering Inspection fee
  • Miscellaneous Fee

Process: Business One-Stop-Shop*
1. Assessment of duly accomplished business application form (with Barangay Clearance) by the Budget Officer
2. Payment of taxes/fees due including Fire Inspection Fees to the Municipal Treasurer’s Office
3. Sanitary ad Business Permit Issuance by the Budget Office

Requirements for the Issuance of Building Permit
• Barangay Clearance for Building Permit
• Certified True Copy of Title or Tax Declaration
• Photocopy of Deed of Sale
• Photocopy of Latest Tax Receipt
• Clearance from the Department of Public Works and highways (if site is located in Manila East Road and Pilila-Sagbat Diversion Road)
• Three sets of Plan signd and sealed by the Civil Engineer or Architect
• Three sets of Bill of Materials

Requirements for the Issuance of Electrical Permit
• Barangay Clearance for Electrical Permit
• Certified True Copy of Title or Tax Declaration
• Photocopy of Deed of Sale
• Photocopy of Latest Tax Receipt
• Three sets of Electrical Plans/Load Schedule signed and sealed by PEE or RME

Requirements for Fencing Permit
• Barangay Clearance for Fencing Permit
• Certified True Copy of Title or Tax Declaration
• Photocopy of Deed of Sale
• Photocopy of Latest Tax Receipt
• Blue Print of lot plan
• Clearance from the Department of Public Works and highways (if site is located in Manila East Road and Pilila-Sagbat Diversion Road)

Requirements for Relocation Survey Permit
• Barangay Clearance for Relocation Survey Permit
• Certified True Copy of Title or Tax Declaration
• Photocopy of Deed of Sale
• Photocopy of Latest Tax Receipt
• Blue Print of lot plan
